Community Goods Photos: Inside Both LA Cafés
These Community Goods photos give you a real look inside both Los Angeles locations before you visit, the original Edinburgh Ave café and the design-forward PDC branch in West Hollywood. From interior shots to the drinks and food people photograph most, this gallery covers the full visual experience.
Community Goods Photos: Edinburgh Ave Interior
The original Community Goods location keeps a warm, minimalist look, built around wood tones, soft natural light, and simple counter seating. This is the smaller of the two locations, with a neighborhood café feel that regulars describe as cozy rather than polished.
The Storefront
The Community Goods storefront on Edinburgh Ave, with its wood-framed windows and simple painted sign.
Behind the Counter
A barista working the espresso counter, with the coffee bean shelf stocked behind him.
Lounge Seating & Magazine Wall
A slower corner near the entrance, with magazines on the wall for anyone sticking around.
Wood-Beam Ceiling & Skylight
Exposed wood beams and a skylight over the kitchen give the space most of its natural light.
General Store Shelf
Wood shelving stocked with pantry goods, snacks, and small housewares alongside the coffee menu.
Pantry Shelf & Coffee Bar
The retail shelf sits right next to the espresso bar, so the counter and the shop share one space.
Sidewalk Bench Seating
Overflow bench seating along the sidewalk for when the patio fills up.
Dog-Friendly Outdoor Patio
The outdoor patio welcomes dogs, with bench seating tucked against a green hedge wall.
Weekend Morning Line
Customers lined up outside on a weekend morning, one of the busiest times to visit.
Community Goods Photos: PDC Architecture
Set inside the Pacific Design Center on Melrose Ave, the PDC location takes a more architectural, gallery-like approach. The blue-glass building itself, designed by César Pelli, is one of the most recognizable structures in West Hollywood, and the café's interior matches that same design-forward energy.
We don’t yet have our own photos from the PDC location to show here. Check back soon, or see the Locations page for the address and hours in the meantime.
Community Goods Photos: Most Photographed Menu Items
Certain items show up in Community Goods photos more than others, and for good reason.
Einspänner Latte. Iced espresso topped with sweet cream, a touch of sea salt, and cocoa powder. The drink everyone photographs. Widely considered the most photographed drink on the menu.
Pistachio Toast. Thick-cut sourdough with house-made pistachio spread, vanilla sea salt, honey, and olive oil. The café's signature dish.
Matcha Latte. Ceremonial-grade matcha from Fukuoka, Japan, whisked fresh over your choice of milk, hot or iced. It photographs well in natural light thanks to its bright, even color.
The photos below aren’t close-ups of these exact three drinks, but they show the same matcha and coffee craft in action.
Matcha Lattes, Ready to Go
Two iced matcha lattes handed off at the counter, each cup labeled with the Edinburgh Ave address.
Signature Beverages
Two of the most-ordered drinks side by side: iced matcha and iced coffee.
Avocado Toast & Iced Coffee
A classic order: avocado toast with an iced coffee on the side.
Breakfast Sliders & Iced Matcha
Breakfast sliders and iced matcha, laid out on one of the outdoor picnic tables.
Community Goods Photos on Social Media
Community Goods has built a strong presence online, partly through regular customer photos and partly through repeated public sightings of Justin and Hailey Bieber at the Edinburgh Ave location, shared widely on TikTok and Instagram. That attention has made both locations, but especially Edinburgh Ave, among the more photographed cafés in Los Angeles.
